Ted,

I don't know if the manager of HP's WCSO (Worldwide Customer Support
Org.) is a lurker on this list, but, if I were you, I'd contact him
immediately and report whatever treatment you received. Misunderstood
or not, there's no excuse for this at ANY level! Good luck.

Word of warning to anyone out there with a speech problem and tries to
call the HP response center at night. Be prepared to get hung up on 6
times like I did tonite, and have them threaten to call the police on
you, even though I told them I had an HP 3000 and even gave them my
serial # twice. I finally called home and had my wife call HP for me.
Wonder if you gotta pay extra to get "civil" service.

Ted
