You should be receiving the 5.5 Communicator in the
mail shortly (I've not received mine yet though either).
In it is supposed to be a form you can fill out and fax
back to HP requesting the new OS.  Basically, you'll have
to review the Communicator to decide if the release is
"really for you".  I believe everything just went to MR
less than two weeks ago.

Hate to sound ignorant, but...
 
A while back on the list I heard someone say that MPE/iX 5.5 was
going to be released in August.
 
It's August, is it on schedule?  Is there a date?  Is it out already?  Did I
miss the fanfare?  Something at HP World?
