: Greetings!

: At our site, we've been discussing the need for some kind of
: intelligent monitor software for the HP3000 which could detect whether
: a process or job had exceeded run time threshholds or resource limits
: (e.g, looping process) and automatically notify someone (pager, phone,
: etc.). Most job schedulers (we use JMS/3000) have the capability of
: limiting run-times to a degree, but cannot do notification. I don't

: either. Does someone know of such a beast? I'll be at HP World '96
: next week and would be happy to speak to any vendor who could provide
: some solutions.

: TIA for your help.

Lee,

You may want to take a look at the tools from Technikal and/or KLA/Express
from Unison.
