Question for the enlightened:

In using netipc sockets, if you change the timeout interval or enable nowait io
does this cause any transmission of information that could upset the other
end of the connection?

The reason I ask, is when I do this in my web server, netscape (and sometimes
ms iexplorer) report 'connection reset by peer' errors. This leads me to
think some info is being transmitted they don't like.

I've never had any problem doing this with other clients. Are these browsers
just picky? Or is there something deeper at issue here (like HP shouldn't be
sending anything at all)?
