I just received a mailing from Prentice Hall, directed to Interex members
(which I infer from the "Dear Interex Member" greeting ;). The glossy
insert is entitled "Hewlett-Packard Professional Books," and contains a
page (such as it is) from Mr. Platt.

Anyway, there is a single book mentioning the HP3000, under the heading
"Coming this Summer." The book is described as

The Legacy Continues: Using the HP 3000 with HP-UX and Windows NT
   Sellars, et al
   1997, 500pp., 0-13-259060-3 (25906-9) $42.00

To order, the brochure refers to
   Books & Bytes
   1-800-541-2126
   http://www.bytes.com

(Oddly enough, it lists the same 800 number for international inquiries.)
There's also a reference given for Prentice Hall Corporate Sales:
   Kate O'Brien
   (201) 236-7146

BTW, Denys: Isn't Prentice Hall the publisher for your Client/Server
book as well? (Do you have an approximate time frame for that?)
