Since this generated so much noise just wanted to comment that this was one
of the posts from the newsgroup gateway.  Since our news feed sometimes lags
I thought maybe I was just missing something and went ahead and approved it.
 
But to keep with the topic and not make this administrivia... :-)

Actually it is National Cash Register (Inc.) and he's probably a laid-off
employee of their computing division :-)
