Hi all,

I noticed a recent comment about the Interex swap tape being
in the 17th consecutive year...and thought I'd make a comment or two
about it, to prevent inadvertent historical revision :)

I remember getting a copy of the swap tape in San Jose, in 1980,
and being told that this had been done before (at the meeting
in 1979, held in France?), and possibly before that as well!
That would make it at least the 18th consecutive year, if not more.

I'd suggest asking Wayne Holt, the CSL founder, at: [log in to unmask]
I recall Wayne setting up the CSL and running it from Whitman College.

If Wayne doesn't know something about Interex's history, then
it simply ain't so!

The reason I mention it is that we humans seem to like anniversaries
ending in "0" ... and it just might be the 20th anniversary of the CSL!
