We recently put a DDS2 drive in a cabinet that is connected to our 927LX.
STORE reported very often a bad tape (120m). It turned out that there were
many IO errors on the SCSI bus. HP exchanged the CD-ROM (which was in
the 927LX itself) with the DDS2 drive and we had no more problems since
then.
