In order to change the HP3000 host ip address, it is NOT necessary to reboot.
 
Simply make the required changes in NMMGR (as so eloquently demonstrated in
an earlier post), validate NETEXPORT, then stop and re-start the network
with the appropriate NETCONTROL, NSCONTROL commands.
