May I direct those interested parties to the latest CyberLaw postings...
 
Pretty clear - The "CSL" itself is protected by Interex, the copyright for
individual contributions -
the programs themselves, are owned by the contributor.
 
If I contribute a utility for the CSL, I retain the copyright.  It works
the same for articles and columns I write for Interact.  I own the
copyright for those articles, not Interex, even though they appear in
Interact.  The same rule applies to the CSL - authors do not cede control
to Interex for content.
 
Larry Lessig, David Post, and Eugene Volokh have done a service by
providing the CyberLaw postings.  If you have questions, you might want to
check them out - the lastest two were on this topic...
