Item one: HP has an advert in the background of Pointcast.com's screen
saver speaking of "Breaking Down the Walls" and subsequent panel says
between Unix, Windows NT, and Netware. No 3000/MPE/etc.
Item two: New web page advert (also on Pointcast.com's ads) for HP WCSO
saying they service practically anything -- HP, Novell, Sun, Cisco, and a
boatload of other hardware/software. No 3000/MPE/etc.
In contrast (or maybe similarly?) IBM ads tout the AIX machines and AS/400,
and rarely mention the 360/370 legacy mainframes.
This is rapidly becoming "not so subtle" anymore.
On a related note, no, nevermind, let's just say it involves a new Sun to
sit in front of one of our 3000s. I feel like a heretic.
