Try using the POSIX style file name, in other words put a . or / in front
of the name.  FTP uses the same name resolution algorithm as LISTFILE so
if no . or / then it is MPE syntax. Also if you are doing a mput the
wildcard is @ and not *. For example  ./FT@ or [log in to unmask]  .
