Eugene - We are looking at a feature in DataExpress which would allow the
         the redefinition of Image records by extending the DataExpress
         File Definition Utility - which is how we do KSAM and MPE from
the
         ODBCLink option as well ... We also have Dataviews in DataExpress
         which allow a "view" of data from various databases/files to be
         defined. Our Lab folks are working on adding this as well ... it
         currently works from the main DataExpress product and knowledge
of
         of it will be adding it soon as a configurable data source for
         the ODBCLink option.
 
        We already read the AllBase DBE's so we can get to the Split
fields
        today.
