Please refer to my letter in the January issue of the INTEREXexpress 1996, and
to HP's response from

"Although HP is currently developing a solution that will work under Windows 95,
there are no plans to provide a solution for using Winsock under Windows 3.1 or
Windows NT. The Windows 95 solution will be available in Spring 1996."

This means if you are running WFW 3.11 on the LAN you're @#$% out of luck! They
have no plans to make it work on the network under winsock.dll which is how I
access the HP3000 via Reflection/1. I don't find this a terribly wise decision,
but then ....... They are expecting WFW and Windows NT to disappear like the
HP3000. So much for business decisions made the osterich way.

Full text discussion in the INTEREX publication. Note I tried to find it online
under their Internet Web site, but for some reason the "express" issues don't
appear yet! Maybe they will later. You'll just have to look for a hardcopy issue
or steal a friends copy.
