HP does market a developers HW/SW bundle for HPUX called the
"HP Developer's Station" that caters to the 'C' crowd (which
is appropriate for that OS).  This somewhat gets back to the
previous threads on HP providing a small MPE developers system/
bundle!
 
BTW: I have since purchased a demo 928LX for a fantastic price,
     but I still have the same software issues.  If I purchase
     a couple of compilers from HP for it, I've paid as much
     for them as I did the 928 itself!
