Gentle Listers,

We are running an HP3000 967SX on Powerpath 5 of:
RELEASE: C.50.02 MPE/iX HP31900 B.79.06 USER VERSION: C.50.02
with about 38GB of disk space. Of said disk space 32GB are the F&W SCSI
type and connected in a manner where each F&W controller services 8
devices.

We are at the point where more disk is needed, and our SE indicates that we
could get an additional 16GB, by adding one of the new C5266U 4GB drives
into each of our 4 existing racks and without having to get any new
controllers.

This will bring our SCSI chain length to 10 devices per controller and I
wanted to ask the opinion of the very knowledgeable people in the list as
to whether the proposed setup may be problematic.

Thanks

Paul H. Christidis
