The VTSERVER overhead isn't (usually) noticable; what will hurt you, however,
is if users start doing large file transfers because they are "so much faster
now".  It doesn't take very many simultaneous large file transfers to start
bogging down your 957, and since the transfers take so much less wall time
than they used to, users start doing more of them.
