Note: your hub might be twisted pair wire only. In this case, you need
some network device with both ThinLan (a.k.a. BNC or thin coax) and
UTP (twisted pair) connections. Consult with your network supplier for
such a device (there are *lots* of possibilities).

Euro posted some suggestions for changes to some of the tcp/ip retry
counters that would likely be useful. Perhaps you can get them from him.
If not, let me know and I'll dig them up.

Think you may need to restart the system if you had to change
the ethernet setting to Y. Otherwise, I don't think it is
necessary.
