Greetings

There is a constant low grumbling on this list about the high cost of
WRQ's Reflection.
In our country, it adds up to 20% to the cost of a typical PC. Of course
our pitiful, ever tumbling currency doesn't help.

As far as I know, three components are required to connect Ref to HP3000
via NSVT - one is Reflection itself, and the other is a TCP/IP stack, and
the third is a small WRQ file called rnnsvt.dll (18.2k).

Reflection for Windows (especially prior to 5.00 - we lost those
beautifully formed fonts in 5.00) is an excellent terminal emulator with
a powerful script language.

If you have telnet access to your HP3000 and a TCP/IP stack (and MS
TCP/IP is fast, reliable, supported and FREE), then Reflection it's all
you need. If you want NSVT, then you must pay double the cost of
Reflection for the little file rnnsvt.dll.
It does seem a little opportunistic.

My 2c (US, that is. It's about 10c SA!) worth.
