You're probably right, Gavin, and I've never understood why.  For the
protection that logging affords, and unless you can back up your db's
every night (we cannot because of their size), logging is an easy
choice to make.

Does anybody have any idea what percentage of Image databases have logging
enabled?  My impression has always been that it is a fairly small number.  I
think this was certainly true back on MPE/V, but have more people started
using logging in recent years?  From experience at Quest, I would wild-guess
that less than 20% of important databases use logging.
