Russ -
We have been using Eric Schubert's Not Quite Telnet (NQTELNET) without
ANY problems. We are currently running MPE/iX 5.0. Eric had a copy for
4.0 that I got from OPUS, but he has upgraded it for 5.0 (Are both
versions on OPUS? Jeff or Eric)
You set it up so a stream job is running and a session is spawned every
time that someone "logs in" The login is a banner that looks slightly
like unix.
The only "wierd" incident is when an internal user accicdently telneted
(instead of NS/Vt) to the HP3000 and asked me how he got to Notre Dame.
He just saw the NQ-telnet Banner. Oh well.....
