If you have a later version of Mpex then use its 'notepad' feature to do
what you want. It's much simpler than the echo command.

Subject: Append to Temp file?

I would like to do the following, as an example (several times a day):

PURGE Myfile
ECHO This is line 1 > Myfile
ECHO This is line 2 >> Myfile
SAVE Myfile

However, I don't want to keep writing over "Myfile". I'd like to keep it =
as a permanent file, just append to it once in a while.
I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions, without resorting to Quiz, =
COBOL, etc. I have MPEX and some other 3rd party tools at my exposure if =
need be.

Thanx
