Wait for 5.5 and print to your Series 4 over the network.  No downside
if your printer is off or otherwise unavailable to the network.

Or order one of the fine 3rd party network printing products already
available.
 
Depending on your variety of Series 4, you need an internal JetDirect
card or a JetDirect-EX external box.  Should be less than $300.
