The shop I'm in currently has five of us actively doing development all day
on the same 967 as the other approximately 100-120 users. Quiz and Qtp
aren't exactly killing the box but we do complain to each other about Qtp
runs which serially read huge datasets online. My own impatience keeps me
from testing with full production limts! BTW, the real system killer is QDD!
 
You might ask yourself what are your costs to have a developer sitting
around for even 10 minutes waiting while a test Qtp or Quiz runs in the job
queue.
