GNU C++ is being made available on the HP 3000.
This is definite plus for HP 3000 developers and
users.  Two things need to be done, one "political";
the other technical:

(1) Political: GNU C++ needs to appear in some
form in the HP 3000 900 Series Computer Systems
Ordering Guide, with a part number that has an HP
support option.

(2) Technical: To be useable in a real HP 3000
development environment, there needs to be a
symbolic debugger that will support it.
