For Mirrored Disc/iX to be a complete high-availability
product, it needs to be able to mirror the
MPEXL_SYSTEM_VOLUME_SET. Even though
the SPU may need to be powered down to replace
a failed drive in the System_Volume, we need to be
able to do this on a planned rather than an unplanned
basis.

Because only a small fraction of HP 3000 customers
are running Mirrored Disc, it is unlikely that this
enhancement will ever get enough votes to make it
into the "Top 10" on the SIGMPE enhancement list.
That being the case, what are the chances HP will
ever incorporate this feature ?

Other than this one deficiency, Mirrored Disc is a
great product............
