The LDEV numbers for non-nailed ports appear to be allocated from the not
otherwise specfied (1,2,6,10,20,DTCs etc) numbers. On the system I was
configuring, these had been used by NSVT sessions. After adding some
non-nailed ports the NSVT sessions appeared with larger numbers. I was
able to determine that the first allocation of ports went to the non-nailed
DTC ports and that the number of LDEVs were from the NMMGR field that allows
non-nailed ports.

Unless this has changed in 5.0 ?
