Hello Friends:

From the latest 3000 NewsWire:

HP hikes 969 performance with quadrupled cache models

Expects 20 percent performance lift for $4,000 per processor

The top end of HP's Kittyhawk line, known as ThunderHawk inside HP, goes on
sale this month and effectively ends the lifespan of the popular Series
959KS systems. HP might have rolled out the 959s just last year at this
time, but the new 969KS/x20s offer a good deal more for a modest increase
in price.

For more details on the beginning of the end of the 959s, steer your web
browser to the 3000 NewsWire's Web site: http://www.3k.com/seybold.
