Several vendors make these multifunction products. HP's is called the
OfficeJet LX. Note the "LX". They also make a standard OfficeJet, but it
doesn't include the scanner feature that the "LX" model does.

Hi everyone,

A friend of mine was asking about a device that was basically a fax/copy
machine with the ability to scan into a file on the PC. I am not aware of
any, but I know if there is one someone on this list will know.

They were not really interested in using the PC as the fax server for some
unknown reason. Therefore the idea of a fax program, a scanner/printer was
not appealing to them.

Any ideas?
