Thomas,
I do most of my coding in a Windows editor, then paste to the HP, or save
to a PC file and upload. You seem to have the uploading handled. Using
Reflection, I've been able to paste over a serial and VT connection. I
usually use Quad on the hp, but Editor/3000 will work as well. I just copy
the text to the clipboard from my Windows app, enter add mode in Quad or
Editor, then select Edit.Paste, or press Shift-Insert. Make sure you don't
have any tabs in the copied text. You can also use FCOPY if you don't want
to use the other methods.
:FILE NEW;REC=-72,,F,ASCII;SAVE
:FCOPY FROM=;TO=*NEW;NEW
paste text here
...
...
:EOD
That'll do it. Typing a colon alone will actually end the input to FCOPY.
Hope this helps, Bob Rose
