This situation is permissible; it's a request that MPE assign a random
unique 8-character name. I use this when the only object of the IPCGIVE is
to allow a second process to take over a connection.

It's permissible to give away a call socket; again, this allows a server
process to take over connection management from some kind of management or
startup process.
