Mark,

Your summary is very good. Powerpatch C.50.04 was made available for
customer shipments late last week. It is a superset of the Express 3
Powerpatch (C.50.03) plus those patches that have been referred to here
as the "supplemental patches". C.50.04 also contains several other
bug fixes that have had customer exposure. C.50.04 does not contain
any significant new software functionality -- it's just more bug
fixes. I will post a patch list separately.

There is a "Read Before Installing" document that ships with C.50.04;
this document contains step-by-step instructions to determine
whether your XL.PUB.SYS has been impacted, and if you are impacted,
this document also contains instructions on how to repair it.

And, as always, it is always a good idea to discuss your particular
situation with your HP Support channels.
