        Please don't take this as an 'official HP answer'.
 
I couldn't find anything at the CI variable level. Perhaps you read about the
JOBINFO intrinsic, where item #39 returns the spoolfile number of $STDLIST, and
is passed back to the calling program as a parameter variable.
                                                     ^^^^^^^^
 
It would be easy to knock up a simple program to call this intrinsic & set up
a user-defined variable containing the $STDLIST spoolfile number.
