Hello All!
The Tulare County Office of Education is looking for a:
COMPUTER PROGRAMMER/ANALYST
AREA OF ASSIGNMENT: County Schools Office/Business Services Division
SALARY RANGE: $3200 to $3892/month, plus paid health benefits,
life and disability insurance, and retirement. 8 hours per day/12
months per year
FILING DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 2, 1996 - 4:00 P.M.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
Review system performance, recommend and implement improvements;
install, monitor, and modify programs; designing and improving
programs and data structures; perform complex analysis and programming.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of: ANSI COBOL; HP Computers; PC systems; MPE/iX:
Turbo Image and knowledge of Powerhouse, government
accounting, and HPSQL preferred.
Skills to: Direct the work of others and instruct on data processing
skills; write procedures for computer operations; analyze
assigned applications area, and develop programs and
procedures to improve those areas; operate computer and
peripherals; write complex computer programs; analyze data
and draw sound conclusions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
o BA degree preferred, supplemented by courses offered by hardware
and software manufacturers.
o Four years as a programmer analyst II.
