Instead of dink'n around with VT3K protocol - why not wait until MPE 5.5 for
inbound telnet protocol - then edit a standard telnet (VT100 terminal
emulation) Unix client and switch VT100 escapes for HP term escapes?
 
Another option I heard about was some kind of Sun software that runs any
Microsoft windows application - like excel - on a Sun.  Maybe NS/open would
work as well...?  Maybe someone has done this?
