Thanks for the note.  We'll certainly need to raise this with HP so as to try
and get this addressed in time for the next release.  There is a fairly good
possibility that the SIEC (SIGIMAGE Executive Committee) may be having a
meeting with HP in the near future.  Although the focus of the meeting will
be on a different subject, I'll see if we can set this as a side topic for
discussion.
 
By the way, I've seen all the notes on this topic over the last couple of
weeks on "HP3000-L" but haven't had time to catch-up on all my reading until
the last day or so.

Yes,  QUERYNM, if it is no longer the Beta version should come as
QUERY.PUB.SYS.  I have no problem with QUERY ("PROG") coming on the tape as
QUERYCM.
