I have a customer that is interested in a 5000 C40 duplex page
printer.  He needs some bar coding capability as well.
 
The questions are:
1) how fast will it print (assuming text data sent to the
   printer)? (Can really do 40 ppm on network printing?)
2) What 3rd party network printing software do you knowledgable
   users recommend? Some rough pricing would be nice.
3) Anyone have experience with this unit?
4) Operational costs (do the consumables last as specified?)
5) Is there a Bar Code Character Rom available?
6) Any nightmares?
