Before you pack, remember that you need permission to work
in Canada. This is not hard to get for short term work,
especially relating to very specialized work, but call or
see the Canadian Consulate (there is one in LA I believe) or
the Embassy in Washington to avoid unpleasantness in the
airport.
Don't think US Americans specially are picked on, When we go
South the US protects your job opportunities in the same
way.
You may get two copies of this posting. My regular reader has problems posting
to newsgroups so I cut and pasted to another tool to upload to the newsgroup.
Having nearly caused a consultant from the US to be turned back at the
border,I wish to prevent anxiety for clients and consultants!
