Thank you to the people who responded to my question about the format of
indirect files, namely Stan and Ron(who I cannot reply directly to as you
didn't include your e-mail address and I do not receive the headers). I have
been talking with HP about this subject and it appears that there are a couple
of issues :

1. There is NO real documentation on indirect files, even within HP, it kinda
fell through the cracks.
2. The parsing DOES have rules, e.g. the excludes MUST appear immediately after
the fileset they are excluding from.
3. The parsing IS nearly freeform (multiple lines allowed) with the exception 2
above.
4. There are still some unanswered questions about which parameters are applied
to which filesets.

If anyone has more input on this subject (as trivial as it might seem) I would
be glad to receive it.

Cheers,
John Dunlop ([log in to unmask])
