Not sure, but this one came to me this morning (from where, we can only
speculate ;-):
 
Q: Why will a ternary logic system, i.e. one based on tri-state
conditions of "on", "off", and "unknown", never achieve widespread use?
 
A: Because of fundamental social problems, for speakers of English, in
referring to the minimum unit of data storage/manipulation for such a
system.
