Are you certain that the ryder file is damaged? There have been two troubles
I've experienced with picking up jazz software.

1) There was a problem with the ryder program (not their data files) that
was only corrected last month. If you picked up ryder earlier than that,
you may want to get the latest version.

2) If, like me, you used a PC-based web browser, downloading the jazz file
to a PC, then transfer it using Reflection for Windows to the HP3000, then
you may have hit another snag. Whenever I've used Reflection (4.21) to send
these files up, for some reason it produces a bigger file on the 3000 than
the source on the PC. It seems peculiar to these .R (ryder) files, and I am
at a loss to know why (then again, maybe I should check with WRQ!). Anyway,
I've found that either the OLD-WRQ transfer method, or some other method
(like FTP) will work correctly.

Hope this helps.

Cheers.
