- Agree (partially). That probably reads "no". However, another piece of
information that I have been told is that the DNS client code on HP3000
was a direct port from HP-UX. Since that code does not use hosts for
fallback in case of DNS request fails - it was not modified for MPE to
do so. I don't know whether this holds true for HP-UX but I would be
interested in finding out. I support Jim's assesment, I think it would
be a very nice feature and make network changes faster and easier.
