Block-mode support, for one. Not supported with Telnet, since it's a
proprietary HP thing and Telnet is supposed to be "open".>>
 
This is not completely correct; block mode ala VPLUS works fine over
Telnet, from all flavors of Reflection that we've tried, and most other
emulators as well. HP block mode may be another story.

This is the key difference; VT is "tuned" for the kinds of communication
that an HP terminal or emulator carries on with its host, so it is
usually faster-sometimes quite noticeably so.
