Well, I vote for:
Change mode of 202 to reflect potential capacity. (If I am concerned
that DDX would fail because of lack of disc space, then I should not
enable it.)
Then, on individual databases, set the method of 202 return info using
DBUTIL. CUrrent method is default.
This is an easy way to let existing systems take advantage of new
technology if we so choose without having to change code in umpteen
apps. After all, a part of new techy stuff is to see how we can apply it
to existing apps. If we don't do this, we are not truly 'leveraging'
what exists ...............
