Not being able to get to the SIG meetings and the
roundtables are probably at the top of my list of why I
regret not being able to get to Interex-Toronto.

Trying to think of some way to participate in-absentia,
it occurred to me to wonder if Interex might accept
roundtable questions via e-mail, from Interex members
like me who are not able to be there in person. I sent
Interex management a private e-mail asking that ?, and
received a response that indicated any Interex member
could send in issues to the "[log in to unmask]"
address that is listed in The Compass in InterexPRESS.
I also understand that the Advocacy Operations Group
will be on-line in Toronto, so they will be able to receive
questions up to the last minute.

I was sort of under the impression that Interex would
post an "official" notice to the above effect, if they indeed
wanted to encourage Interex members to send in roundtable
questions by e-mail (but I could have misunderstood).
Didn't see anything to date, and I forgot to call and check
yesterday. Much of the Interex staff is probably in Toronto
already anyway, and I'm sure they are busy with final
preparations. And now I am going to be out of town for two
days. So before I escape I will take it upon myself to
suggest the following, to give people a little advance notice
that they might try doing this:

Even though there has been no official post by the
Interex staff, the [log in to unmask] address is
out there and it is live. If anyone wants to send in a few
roundtable questions for Toronto it sounds like the
Advocacy Group will be monitoring their e-mail, and my
guess is the odds are pretty good they will accept the
questions (no money back guarantees by the writer).
Note to increase the chances of that, recommend you
include your full name, address, phone number, *AND*
Interex membership number if you have one.

And after throwing out that little concussion grenade
without permission from anyone, I'm going to head for
the depths of the North Cascades.............. ;-)
