Is this on the "file" or all the intermediate directories...or both?
 
The filename ACD shows @.@ : R,X,RACD - I assume that @.@ must have TD
to the /ACCT, /ACCT/GROUP, /ACCT/GROUP/dir1, /ACCT/GROUP/dir1/dir2,
and /ACCT/GROUP/dir1/dir2/dir3 to read the file in that directory?
 
Why wouldn't that be default? You can already LISTF/LISTFILE and see
the directories? And you can CD to all of them via the shell. I don't
see why Fopen() should be subject to different rules. I can CD into
that directory and  cat the file after all...
