Thanks to the enhancements Eero recently made, under part of the "Who's
connected to the HP3000" project, there are new VAR's set at logon for
VT sessions which contain the originating IP address (and other info).
 
(Some of the initial design specs were discussed on the list a while
back...)
 
I can't speak for when it'll be released (or what it'll look like if/
when it is released). The new VARs DO work though, and are wonderful. We
use them in option logon UDCs that verify originator's IP address before
allowing them to "do" anything... If not valid -->BYE.
