For my $0.02 worth, and not to debate Road Runner vs Turbo Store, I would
strongly suggest *NOT* using software data compression.  You can pick up a
data compression DDS drive at a reasonable price thereby offloading the
compression/decompression from the HP3000 onto the DDS drive.  This really
makes a big difference to your system performance for stores/restores.
