Before Reflection supported labelled files, I did something similar to
what you are doing (keeping a log of the label, etc.). I then used the
log to execute FILE equations on the 3000 before uploading. Reflection
did recognize and support the eq. You might be able to automatically
execute the file equation during the conversion if the user is logged on
and wants to upload the file right then.
