Say, you are on a Unix machine, you run ftp and open a connection to your
hp3000 and login.
At this point, you can tell ftp "site stream FILENAME" (without the quotes)
and using your file as FILENAME. This will stream FILENAME on the hp3000.
 
I'm not positive of what version of mpe or ftp started having this feature.
